Located in Ashgabat and developed by GAP Construction, the Stomatology Centre is a healthcare campus designed in accordance with international standards and inclusive design principles. The project spans a total area of 48,000 sqm, with approximately 31,000 sqm of interior space accommodating technical zones, clinical departments and public circulation. Equipped with state-of-the-art medical systems, the facility includes 85 dental treatment units, a total of 88 beds with 8 ICU beds, and four operating theatres dedicated to maxillofacial surgery.

EC Lighting Design Studio delivered the full lighting design and consultancy for interiors, façades and exterior areas. Our strategy prioritizes visual comfort, low glare, accurate colour rendition and fixture specifications compatible with stringent hygiene protocols in healthcare environments. Circadian-aware scenes provide balanced illumination throughout waiting areas, corridors and clinics, while clear lighting hierarc

hies reinforce wayfinding and emergency readiness. Surgical suites, sterile zones, intensive care and imaging adjacencies are designed to meet international performance criteria. On the exterior, façade and landscape lighting establish an energy-efficient, low-maintenance night-time identity that reinforces the institution’s character. The result is a sustainable, safe and human-centred lighting language tailored to an accessible, next-generation dental care campus.
