The International Oncology Hospital project showcases the transformative role of lighting design in shaping a world-class oncology hospital in Turkmenistan, a contender among the top 10 globally.  Encompassing a vast 91,065 square meters, the facility boasts 500 beds, 14 operating theatres, and 45 intensive care units.  As the lighting design team, we played a key role in crafting a comprehensive strategy that prioritizes patient well-being.  The design optimizes visibility for clinical tasks while fostering a calming atmosphere.  Moreover, it incorporates energy-efficient solutions, potentially reducing operational costs.  This collaborative effort between medical professionals and architects highlights the impact of thoughtful design on not only patient care but also project efficiency and value creation.
